I need legal advice on an injury case that took place out of country?

I was injured skiing in Japan. I am now back in Canada recovering. How can I sue for negligence from here to recover lost wages/pain and suffering? Is it possible? Is it expensive?

Please help!I need legal advice on an injury case that took place out of country?
The laws in Japan will be considerably different to those common law rights found in BC. The Japanese system of law is a civil law jurisdiction (so is Quebec's). The liability of the persons you think are responsible for causing your injury will be dictated in Japan by codified rules of law. In fact, they may not owe you any responsibility at all. You need a lawyer.
