Is it legal for a local news show to show a rape case of a girl that's 17 in Texas?

Can they be on the news if they're under 18?Is it legal for a local news show to show a rape case of a girl that's 17 in Texas?
As long as they don't show a picture or give a name of the victimIs it legal for a local news show to show a rape case of a girl that's 17 in Texas?
For the most part, the courts have not allowed for penalties against media outlets that publicized the names of rape victims. The issue is that crime reports are public records.

That said, most newspapers have an internal policy of not publishing victim names, but it would be next to impossible to have them punished for doing otherwise. This is a case in which the greater good is served by preserving First Amendment freedoms, though some harm may also result. But truthfully, hiding (sometimes called protecting) the names of any crime victim is an implicit statement that the victim has something to be ashamed about. Not true!
The story will, but the names will likely be omitted for minors.
it says RAPE CASE idiot.

and yes, it is.
